Empowerment enhances the ability of individuals or organizations to make choices and transform those choices into positive outcomes. Empowered people have recognized their own value and strength and their capacity to handle life's problems. In turn they are better able to influence the course of their lives. With information and support, most people can find within themselves the power to direct their lives and reach their dreams.

Excuses
All of us tend to make excuses as to why we haven't got the life of our dreams. But making excuses just reveals to us that we haven't actually decided to go after the life of our dreams. I had a friend who always said that we could make excuses all we wanted to, but if someone promised us a million dollars if we created the life of our dreams, we would stop making excuses and the greatest creativity you could ever imagine would flow out of us. Try imagining that you were going to get $1,000,000.00 if you created the life of your dreams in the next year and see how creatively you could overcome your excuses.
