Purple

In "The Color Purple" the author has the main character say something to the effect that since God created all the beautiful colors, he must be so disappointed that we don't stop to admire the color purple. I've found that when I focus on the gift I've been given of the opportunity to live in this world of beauty, it's a lot easier to be committed to working toward the life of my dreams.

I have had the experience of losing people I loved - suddenly and quite unexpectedly. So I know that I'm only one heartbeat away from leaving this planet. Why waste time?
